Please Pay $1.87 Million: Front Line Sues Axl Rose…

Axl Rose is now getting sued by Front Line Management for a lofty $1.87 million, according to details surfacing Friday morning. The suit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, was prompted by unpaid commissions.

Sounds cut-n-dry, though the claim is actually based on an oral agreement for 15 percent of receipts from overseas performances. That could make the recovery process tricky for Irving Azoff and Front Line, especially if a dispute surrounds aspects of the agreement. The Axl-fronted Guns n’ Roses reportedly pulled revenues of $12 million from recent jaunts across South America, Canada, and Asia.
