And the latest legal action against EMI? The Doobie Brothers are now suing EMI Music North America over non-payment of royalties, according to reports out of London and Nashville Monday morning.

The legal action is being spearheaded by copyright administrator Bluewater Music Services, which is alleging non-payments from compilations, ringtones, and other formats. At least one other artist, specifically Chris LeDoux, is also involved.
