Wednesday, January 14th, 2009Joel Evans wrote the music and Adryan Russ penned the lyrics to their song “Is It Me?,” which was recently placed by MusicSupervisor.com in the acclaimed film Doubt starring Meryl Streep and Phillip Seymour Hoffman. Joel’s San Francisco-based company Cinemasters has music placed in over 250 television episodes and over 60 films including Wedding Crashers. Cinemasters’ library of custom music spotlights swing, jazz and big band. Adryan conceived and wrote music and lyrics for Inside Out, an award-winning off-Broadway musical, co-written with playwright Doug Haverty. The show has played in New York and around the world. She also has had many covers including Barry White’s recording of her song, “The Better Love Is, the Worse It Is When It’s Over.”
Artist Spotlight – Circe Link In “Blades Of Glory”

“Call Him a Thief,” written and recorded by Circe Link, was discovered by George Drakoulias, music supervisor for Blades of Glory using MS-Pro. “Call Him a Thief” sounds similar to the best of Patsy Cline with a dash of Norah Jones, but is definitely in Circe’s own unique style. The song appeared on her second album More Songs from Circe Link. Circe’s five albums to date were produced by Christian Nesmith, a stellar artist, musician and composer who also has songs in MS-Pro. UN Food Bank Uses MS-Pro

MS-Pro was used to find artist Yvette D’entremont’s version of “C’est Si Bon.” It has been used in a humorous television spot for the United Nations World Food Project. The PSA spot will be aired during the Rugby World Cup games to be broadcast throughout Europe.
